KUNE FESTIVAL 2023

KUNE Festival's fourth edition will be held in the familiar, beloved location of Ungdomsøen Island on 19-23 July 2023, with an estimated 115 music and visual artists joining the lineup. Amongst those, the festival will welcome acts such as Anastasia Kristensen, Schacke, Woody92, Charlotte Bendiks, Marie Montexier, Mama Snake, Kasper Marott, Behrang Mohammadi, O.Blom, and Vlada.

The festival's fourth edition spreads over five days and includes over 100 hours of music on different stages and immersive visual art experiences with several galleries, workshops, and art installations. This year, the festival offers full passes, as well as weekend passes and daily tickets which can be purchased via the WERZ app and Resident Advisor. Trips from Copenhagen to the island will be offered via boat throughout the day to provide easy access and flexibility for the attendees.

KUNE Festival offers an immersive experience that blends art, music, and the island's natural beauty. The location's secludedness adds to the sense of separation from everyday life. At the same time, the art invites us to engage in open discussions and imagine a world that can be different, positively impacting our mentality and worldview. In conjunction with the art, the music creates a holistic cultural experience representative of the modern Nordic arts community.

KUNE festival is organized by the eponymous art organization based in Copenhagen with the unceasing mission to create more opportunities for artists in the Nordic region. The organization acknowledges the importance of maintaining a vibrant local cultural scene. It is thus working toward activating the local community, industry workers, and artists in reinforcing the development of a cultural space that local talent can use as a launching pad. KUNE is built with the support of a strong community rooted in values of co-creation, togetherness, connection, and passion for art and culture. The festival provides opportunities for forming new connections and relationships, strengthening the bond between individuals and the community.
